Doha, Qatar: Qatar’s newest dining destination, Signature by MARZA, officially opened its doors on April 4 with a grand celebration at its flagship location near Midmac Roundabout, Salwa Road. The event brought together food lovers, celebrities, influencers, and top dignitaries, making it one of the most talked-about launches in the city.
The highlight of the evening was the presence of South Indian film star Mr. Asif Ali, who attended as the Guest of Honour. His appearance added star power to the event, which included a red-carpet welcome, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a guided tour of the three-storey venue. The event was further honoured by the presence of Sayyid Abbas Ali Shihab Thangal, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Popular food vloggers and influencers such as Bassim Plates, Aswal Calicut For You, and Shalu Kasaragod also took part, sharing the vibrant atmosphere and delicious offerings with their millions of followers. The MARZA Group leadership, including Mr. Ahamed Haji Kandoth, Mr. Mayan Haji Kandoth, Mr. Ashraf Haji Kandoth, Mr. Abdul Gafoor Kandoth, and Mr. Jafar Kandoth, played key roles in welcoming guests and sharing the vision behind this ambitious project.
Signature by MARZA is not just a restaurant — it is a complete hospitality experience. Spread across three levels, the venue includes two floors of multi-cuisine dining and a top floor dedicated to events, with a 350-seat banquet hall, 100-guest mid-size hall, and a 25-seater conference room. It also features a 24-hour tea counter called “Chai Stories”, offering South Indian snacks and traditional Samovar tea — perfect for a nostalgic bite anytime.
The event also featured lively hosting by Kerala’s favourite RJs, Mithun and Manju Manoj, who entertained the crowd with interviews, giveaways, and live interactions.
