Doha, Qatar: Today, April 15, 2025, strong northwesterly winds have significantly reduced visibility across much of Qatar. The Meteorology Department has issued warnings about strong winds and low visibility along the coast, with powerful winds and high waves potentially further lowering visibility offshore. 

Coastal areas are expected to remain dusty until 6 PM, with relatively high temperatures persisting throughout the day. Offshore conditions will vary from dusty to lightly dusty at times, accompanied by some clouds. 

Coastal winds will blow from the northwest at speeds of 14 to 24 knots, occasionally gusting up to 30 knots in certain areas. Offshore, the winds will also be northwesterly, ranging from 14 to 24 knots, with gusts reaching up to 32 knots at times. 

Visibility along the coast will fluctuate between 3 and 8 kilometers, decreasing to 1 kilometer or less in some locations. Offshore visibility will range from 4 to 9 kilometers, with reductions to 1 kilometer or less in certain areas.
