Qatar Museums reopens indoor cultural venues to public from Today

Doha: Qatar Museums has announced the reopening of its museums and indoor cultural venues to the public starting today, March 21, marking the second day of Eid Al Fitr

Museums and galleries across the country will welcome visitors daily during the Eid period, including on their usual weekly closing days. After the holiday period, all venues will return to their regular operating schedules.

Indoor facilities such as galleries, cafés, and retail outlets will be open as per approved timings, while outdoor heritage sites and archaeological locations will remain temporarily closed.

Qatar Museums stated that visitor safety remains a priority, with necessary measures in place to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Staff will also be available on-site to assist visitors.

The public is encouraged to explore exhibitions and cultural offerings during the Eid holidays, with further updates available on official platforms.

Opening Timings & Weekly Closures

General Timings:

Saturday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Friday: 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM

(Timings may vary for certain venues)

Weekly Closures:

·      Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art – Closed on Mondays

·      National Museum of Qatar – Closed on Tuesdays

·      3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum – Closed on Tuesdays

·      Museum of Islamic Art – Closed on Wednesdays
