Doha: Qatar’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has urged iPhone users to immediately update their devices following a recent security alert issued by Apple regarding actively exploited vulnerabilities in iOS.
The
agency warned that these vulnerabilities could allow hackers to carry out
espionage activities or even take control of devices simply by visiting
malicious websites or clicking on harmful links.
According
to NCSA, Apple has already released multiple security updates, with the latest
issued on March 11. Devices running newer versions, from iOS 15 up to iOS 26,
are now protected. However, older versions such as iOS 13 and iOS 14 have been
specifically targeted and are expected to receive updates soon.
The
agency strongly advised users to install updates as soon as they become
available and to avoid opening suspicious links or messages from unknown
sources to stay protected
