Qatar has ranked fourth globally for standard of living in the 2026 Legatum Prosperity Index, the highest position among countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

The country also ranked eighth worldwide in the index’s development measure, reflecting its strong performance in health, education and essential public services.

The rankings highlight Qatar’s continued progress in quality of life and social development, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy.
