Doha, Qatar: The Qatari men's beach volleyball team, comprising Sherif Younis and Ahmed Tejan, secured the 12th position in the FIVB world rankings. The duo accumulated a total of 4,780 points. 

Meanwhile, the Norwegian pair, Anders Berntsen Mol and Christian Sørum, continue to dominate the rankings, holding the top spot with an impressive 8,600 points. 

Following closely, the Swedish team of David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig clinched the second position with 7,220 points.

The Qatari duo recently won the gold medal at the Asian Open Men's Beach Volleyball Tour on May 3, 2025. The tournament was held at Al Gharafa Beach in Qatar, where the team achieved a 2-0 victory against the Australian team in the final match.
