Doha: Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has announced the evacuation of residents living in areas close to the US Embassy as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.

Authorities said the step was taken as part of preventive arrangements in response to the current situation. Residents in the vicinity were moved to safer locations while necessary security procedures are carried out.

Officials confirmed that alternative accommodation has been arranged for those affected. The ministry also urged the public to follow updates issued through official government channels and avoid spreading unverified information.
