Doha: The 10th edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition (S'hail 2026) concluded successfully with more than 80,000 visitors, marking a milestone for the landmark event.

The exhibition, held at Katara Cultural Village from September 8 to 12, brought together 158 entities and companies from 15 countries, showcasing falcons alongside hunting and outdoor equipment, technology, and traditional handicrafts. The event featured a falcon auction, competitions for the best falcon hood, participating pavilion, garage, and poetry about falcons, while artists created works inspired by hunting and desert life.

New facilities introduced this year allowed visitors to complete procedures related to licences for purchasing hunting weapons, replacing old weapons, and obtaining ammunition in cooperation with relevant authorities. The strong turnout reflects the exhibition's growing stature as a platform for preserving falconry heritage while embracing modern technology and industry development.
