Doha: Writer Suresh Kuvaatt unveiled the cover of his new collection of stories, ‘Saigoninte’s Yudhakkuttikal’, in a virtual launch held via social media on New Year’s Day. The event was graced by several prominent writers and literary figures in Doha.

Writers P. Surendran, Santosh Echikkanam, K. T. Soopi, Sheela Tomy, Jinsha Ganga, Shamina Hisham, Nayana Vaidehi, V. Shinilal, Manoj Vellanad, K. V. Manikandan, Rihan Rashid, Manish Muzhukkunnu, and Bineesh Puthuppanam participated in the launch, celebrating Koovat’s literary contribution. The book is published by Mankind Literature.

Writer Suresh Kuvaatt is also the author of ‘Thenvarikka’ (collection of stories) and ‘Malakkari’ (novel), and his stories regularly appear in various periodicals.

He serves as an executive member of the Qatar Indian Authors Forum and currently works as the media coordinator for the ‘Tea Time’ group in Qatar. His family includes his wife, Sunaja, and daughters, Avantika and Gautami
