Doha: As part of Chaliyar Doha’s 10th anniversary celebrations, an organizers’ meet was organized at ICC to review the preparations for “ZedEx Cargo Presents Chaliyar Festival 2025” to be held at Al Wukhair Noble International School Auditorium on November 21.
The highlight of the Chaliyar Festival will be a musical feast led by the title winner and playback singers Badusha and Salman, and stage programs such as cinematic dance, oppana, skit, kolkali, thiruvathira, and margamkali from the 24 panchayats of Chaliyar Doha. Entry will be free.
Chaliyar Doha President C.T. Siddique Cheruvadi presided over the organizing committee meeting. “Chaliyar Utsavam 2025” Program Committee Chairman Mashood Thiruthiyad delivered the keynote address. Vice Chairman Siddique Vazhakad, Patron Noufal Kattayat, Bujair Moorkanad, Sajas Kadalundi, Shaji PC Kuniyil, PC Abdurahiman Mambad, Ahmed Niyaz Moorkanad, Sarath Lal Vazhayur, Mujeeb Cheekode, Rajesh Pothakallu, Ashraf Mambad, Haneefa Chaliyam, Rauf Beypour, Asif Kakov, Rafeeq Karat, Aziz Purayil, Fuad Keezhuparamba, Muhsina Samil, Shana Nasrin, Feby Beypour, Shahana Ilyas, Sharhana Beypour, and Risana Edavanna spoke. Chaliyar Doha General Secretary Sabikhsalam Edavanna welcomed the gathering and Treasurer Abdul Aziz Cheruvannur expressed vote of thanks.
