Doha, Qatar: M.E.S. Indian School organised a grand graduation ceremony titled ‘Au Revoir’ to bid a warm and celebratory farewell to 515 students of the Class XII batch 2025-26. Held at the school Conference Hall, the event marked the successful culmination of the students’ schooling journey amid jubilation, pride and heartfelt emotions.

Mr. Ahamed Isham, Director - Co-curricular & Cultural Activities, M.E.S. Governing Board, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. During the felicitation ceremony, Mr. Kashif Jaleel, President (Officiating), Mr. Aneesh P.A., General Secretary (Officiating), along with directors and members of the Governing Board, presented certificates of merit and mementoes to students who excelled across academics, leadership, sports and co-curricular activities.

Meritorious honours were conferred on student officials, prefects, club secretaries, Scouts and Guides, Campus Care Force members, and students who achieved 100% attendance during the academic year 2025–26, recognising their outstanding contributions to the school community.

Syed Dawar Abbas (Science), Muhammad Patel (Commerce) and Maher Mehdi Rudra (Humanities) were adjudged Best Outgoing Students in the Boys’ Section, while Minha Manaf (Science), Nivedhya Sudhir (Commerce) and Alvina Sakeer (Humanities) secured the same honour in the Girls’ Section. Mohamad Kamal Ali Badran and Hadiya Hashim were named Best All-Rounders of their respective sections. Kesav Shanker Mohan and Prarthana Shaju Nair won the Talent of the Year award, while Mohammed Abdul Muqeet and Nimisha Liz Abraham were honoured as Best Outgoing Prefects.

Sports excellence was recognised with Nasif Mohamed Ismail and Alina Elza Shaji winning Best Outgoing Sportsperson, while Adnan Ashraf and Maria Theresa Jacob were named Best Outgoing All-Rounders in Sports. Abdul Hadi Hidayathulla and Diya Treasa Dijo received honours as Best Outgoing Scout and Guide respectively, and Mohammad Aiman Jamil along with Fathima Sana Pookkayil were declared Best Outgoing Campus Care Force Members. John Mathew Joshua and Mayyasa Mujeeb Koyissery were honoured as Best Band Leaders for the academic year 2025–26.

A particularly inspiring moment of the ceremony was the felicitation of Bharathi Prathyuksha, who achieved an extraordinary milestone by maintaining 100% attendance continuously from Class I through Class XII - a rare feat symbolising exceptional dedication and discipline.

In her address, Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar congratulated the graduating batch on completing a significant phase of their academic journey and reminded them of their ethical responsibilities towards their parents and society.

Mrs. Rema Devi spoke on behalf of the teaching fraternity, while student representatives Khadija Helen and Aimen Jamal shared emotional reflections, expressing gratitude to their alma mater for shaping their futures.

The ceremony featured soulful musical performances and vibrant cultural presentations by students, adding emotional depth and colour to the occasion. Earlier, Evelyn Johnly, Assistant Head Girl, delivered the welcome address, and Ishan Bin Thasneef, Assistant Head Boy, proposed the vote of thanks.

Directors, members of the M.E.S. Governing Board and school officials were present, making the event a memorable and dignified farewell for the graduating Class XII batch.
