Doha, Qatar: As Qatar National Day celebrations draw to a close, football enthusiasts will have another reason to celebrate with their families as the QIFF Super Cup Season 16-popularly known as the Football World Cup of Malayalees in Qatar-reaches its grand finale on Friday, December 19, at the Al Ahli Stadium in Hilal. Taking place the day after National Day, the highly anticipated final offers a festive extension of the celebrations, blending community spirit, culture, and competitive football in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Undefeated teams QRI FC Thrissur and Grand Mall FC Malappuram will contest the prestigious title after impressive performances throughout the tournament. Grand Mall FC Malappuram secured their place in the final with a hard-fought victory in the second semi-final, while QRI FC Thrissur advanced with consistent and disciplined displays across their matches. With both sides remaining unbeaten, the final is expected to deliver an intense and entertaining encounter for football lovers.
