Doha, Qatar: In an ongoing effort to provide urgent relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, a ship carrying a humanitarian shipment has arrived at Port Said in Egypt. The shipment is part of a maritime bridge established by the State of Qatar to support Palestinians, addressing emergency needs and easing the plight of affected families.

On October 22, 2025, the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) announced that the shipment includes 29,200 shelter tents, provided by QFFD, Qatar Charity, and the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS). These tents will be transported through Egyptian territory to the Gaza Strip, offering safe and dignified shelter to tens of thousands of families who lost their homes due to ongoing conflict.
