Doha, Qatar: On Wednesday, a fire erupted on several fishing boats at Al Wakrah Port, sending thick plumes of smoke into the air. Videos shared on social media depicted the scene as multiple boats were consumed by flames.
The Ministry of Interior, via its official X account, announced that Civil Defense teams were promptly dispatched to the site, swiftly bringing the blaze under control. The Ministry confirmed that the fire was fully contained with no casualties reported.
