Doha: The Qatar National Blood Donation Center has made an urgent appeal for individuals with O-negative (O-) blood type to come forward and donate blood.

The announcement was made through the official social media platforms of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) on Monday, October 20, highlighting a critical need for this rare blood group.

Residents are encouraged to visit the Qatar National Blood Donation Center, located within Hamad Medical City, to contribute to the ongoing demand for blood supplies. The center operates from Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The facility remains closed on Fridays.
