Doha: The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, under the Qatar Department of Religious Affairs, is organizing two major events this week — a Family Conference for Malayali families and Teenspace, an exclusive program for teenage students. Both initiatives aim to strengthen moral values and promote a healthy family and social environment within the community.
The
Family Conference,
themed “Purity
of Faith, Happy Family”, will take place on Friday, October 24, at Doha Bin Zayed Auditorium
from 6:30 p.m. The
event will emphasize the importance of maintaining spiritual purity to nurture
harmony and happiness within families, highlighting faith as the foundation of
a peaceful home and society.
The
Teenspace program
will be held the following day, Saturday, October 25, at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium VIP Recreation
Hall at 6:30 p.m. Designed exclusively for teenage students, it
seeks to instill ethical life values, raise awareness about harmful social
behaviors such as drug
addiction, and discuss practical solutions to the mental and emotional challenges
faced by today’s youth.
Renowned academic and motivational speaker Dr. Jauhar Munavvar, Professor at Farooq Training College, Kerala, will deliver the keynote address at both events. Teenage participants will also have the chance to engage in an interactive session with him. Those interested in attending can contact 6000 4485 for more details.
