Washington: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday dismissed swirling social media rumors questioning his health, branding them as “fake news” during a press conference at the White House.
The 79-year-old Republican was responding to a reporter’s question about online speculation, particularly on X, suggesting he was in poor health - with some users even going as far as to claim he had died - after several days without public appearances.
“I didn’t see that,” Trump remarked. “That’s fake news.”
