UAE Golden Visa holder remembered for brilliance, leadership, and humility
Dubai:
Vaishnav Krishnakumar, an 18-year-old UAE Golden Visa recipient and outstanding
student, passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest during a Diwali
celebration at Dubai International Academic City on October 22, 2025. The young
achiever, who had recently begun his professional journey, was known for his
exceptional academic record, securing 97.4% in the 2024-25 CBSE Class 12
examinations with full marks in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He had also
started working as a social media marketing intern at a private firm, one of
its youngest members, and was admired for his focus and determination.
A
former student of GEMS Our Own Indian School, where his mother, Vidhu
Krishnakumar, is a teacher, Vaishnav stood out for his leadership qualities and
commitment to excellence. He served as the Head of the School Council,
President of the Model United Nations Club, and President of the Debating
Society. Known for his disciplined approach and humble attitude, he was
respected by teachers and peers alike. “Every setback was a lesson that helped
shape me into the person I am today,” Vaishnav once said, reflecting his
positive outlook and maturity.
Originally from Mavelikkara, Kerala, Vaishnav’s family has been based in Dubai for more than two decades. His untimely passing has left a deep void among his family, friends, and the academic community. Within the Model United Nations circuit, where he rose from delegate to President, Vaishnav was known for mentoring younger students and inspiring others through his dedication and enthusiasm. His achievements, leadership, and kind nature continue to be remembered by all who knew him.
