Doha, Qatar: The 11th Local Dates Festival commenced on Saturday at Souq Waqif, inviting visitors to delve into Qatar's agricultural heritage and purchase high-quality locally grown fresh dates directly from farmers.
Running until August 10 at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif, the festival features 125 local farms, offering a diverse selection of fresh date varieties harvested across Qatar.
The festival opens from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, the festival offers extended hours from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
