His Highness the Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended the 2026 Amir Cup final on Saturday as Al Gharafa defeated Al Sadd 4-1 at Khalifa International Stadium. Following the match, His Highness presented the Amir Cup trophy and gold medals to Al Gharafa players, while Al Sadd received the silver medals.

Captain Yacine Brahimi delivered a brilliant performance with a hat-trick, scoring in the 27th, 63rd and 90+1 minutes. Ferjani Sassi also found the net for Al Gharafa, while Javairô Dilrosun scored Al Sadd’s only goal in the 89th minute.

The victory secured Al Gharafa’s ninth Amir Cup title in front of 37,823 fans. After the match, Brahimi said the team showed strong mentality and determination to give their supporters a memorable victory.

Brahimi delivered a match-winning performance, scoring crucial goals at key moments to put Al Gharafa in control of the contest. His attacking brilliance proved decisive as Al Sadd struggled to contain the defending champions.

Despite strong efforts from Al Sadd, Al Gharafa maintained their dominance and control throughout the match. With this victory, Al Gharafa successfully defended their crown and added another prestigious trophy to their collection.
