Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court has announced that Arafat Day, marking the climax of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, will fall on Tuesday, May 26, while Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27.
The announcement came after the sighting of the Dhul Hijjah crescent moon on Sunday evening. According to the Saudi Press Agency, Monday, May 18, will be the first day of Dhul Hijjah.
The Supreme Court also prayed for the wellbeing of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and for the safety and acceptance of pilgrims performing Hajj this year.
