Riyadh:
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior has announced strict penalties for
individuals who perform or attempt to perform Hajj without an official permit,
including a fine of up to SAR20,000 and a 10-year entry ban.
According to a statement from the ministry, violators among residents and overstayers will be deported to their home countries and barred from re-entering the Kingdom for a decade. The penalties will be enforced from April 18, 2026 (1 Dhu al-Qa'dah 1447 AH) until the end of May 31, 2026 (14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH).
