and across the world. This historic day is an opportunity to remember with
gratitude the courage and sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to celebrate
the values of unity, democracy and diversity that have shaped our nation. As we
proudly honour our Tricolour, let us renew our commitment to the progress,
peace and prosperity of India.

President of the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC),
I take immense pride in the vibrant Indian community in Qatar and its
contribution towards strengthening the friendship between India and Qatar. Our
cultural diversity is our greatest strength, and Independence Day reminds us of
our shared responsibility to preserve our heritage, promote harmony and remain
united as Indians wherever we live. May our nation continue to progress and
inspire generations to come.
