Doha: The two-day 'Al-Futuwwa' Summer Camp, organised by Students India Qatar (SIQ), an expatriate Malayali student organisation, concluded successfully at the Family Resort in Shahaniya. The camp brought together students from different parts of Qatar for an engaging programme that blended education, leadership training and recreational activities, making the summer vacation both meaningful and enjoyable.
Organised
with the objective of nurturing personality development, leadership skills,
social awareness and teamwork among students, the camp featured a wide range of
educational and entertainment programmes. Through interactive sessions, group
activities and outdoor events, participants were encouraged to build
confidence, strengthen communication skills and develop a spirit of cooperation
and responsibility.
The
camp was inaugurated by Center for
Indian Community President R.S. Abdul Jaleel, while Students India Central Coordinator Sadiq
Chennadan presided over the function. Anees Rahman Mala conducted the ice-breaking session. Interactive
talks were delivered by Shahjahan Abdul
Kareem on "Quran and Life," Aslam Thaufeeq M.I. on "Studenthood," and Ateeq Rahman on "Moral
Values." The Grand Quiz session was led by Riyaz T. Razak, while the Arts session was conducted by Najeeb Tari.
Students
actively participated in study sessions, motivational classes, group
discussions, art competitions, football, swimming, fun games and several
team-based activities. The programmes promoted friendship, coexistence and
leadership while encouraging participants to discover their talents in a
vibrant and supportive environment. Prizes were presented to the winners of
various competitions during the closing ceremony.
The
organisers said the camp, aimed at making students' summer vacation productive
and creative, received an enthusiastic response from both students and parents.
Students India office-bearers expressed their gratitude to the organising
committee, volunteers, parents and participants for contributing to the success
of the event. Habeeb Rahman, Marshad,
Muneeb, Fayiz, Samad, Midlaj, Marsool, Nafih, Ajmal, Abid, Ashfaq and
several others coordinated the camp and its activities.
