Doha: DPS Modern Indian School hosted the fourth edition of Jamboree on October 3, themed "Where Eras Collide – Rewind and Reload," celebrating student creativity, innovation, teamwork, leadership and entrepreneurship.

The event featured more than 55 student-run stalls offering food, games, karaoke, and arts and crafts, transforming the campus into a hub of ideas and enterprise for the day.

Principal Soma Bhattacharjee highlighted the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial thinking through hands-on experience and announced this year's charity initiative, launched in collaboration with the Nexus Innovation Association.

Through the
partnership, students will contribute books, clothes and bags, which the
association will distribute to the Maktaba Children's Library and Qatar
Charity.

Chief Guest Kamakshi Gopi, Vice President of the Indian Women Welfare Organization, encouraged students to spot opportunities, think creatively and turn ideas into action.

Group Academic
Advisor Asna Nafees described Jamboree as a student-driven platform for
experiential learning aligned with NEP 2020, reinforcing the spirit of
"Service Before Self" through the event's charity component.

Jamboree 2026 gave students a hands-on opportunity to experience entrepreneurship through creativity, collaboration, responsibility and initiative.
