The Ministry of Interior (Qatar) has arrested five
individuals for violating a directive that temporarily bans the operation of
drones in the country. Authorities said the arrests were made after the
individuals operated unmanned aerial vehicles despite the restrictions
currently in place.
The ministry stressed that the directive was
introduced to ensure public safety and security. It also urged citizens and
residents to strictly follow the regulations and warned that legal action will
be taken against anyone who violates the drone operation ban in Qatar.
