MoPH issues psychological guidelines to manage stress amid current crisis

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has issued psychological guidelines to help residents manage stress and maintain mental well-being amid the current situation. The ministry emphasized that feelings of fear, anxiety, and sadness are normal during crises and highlighted the importance of staying connected, maintaining routines, and seeking support when needed.

The MoPH also stressed the significance of taking care of physical health, including proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and regular exercise, as this helps reduce stress and strengthens psychological resilience. Special attention should be given to children, reassuring them in age-appropriate ways and encouraging them to express their feelings through play or drawing. Caring for others, especially children and the elderly, also contributes to societal psychological stability.
