Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Central Bank has announced the introduction of special Eidiya ATMs starting 10 March 2026, just in time for Eid Al Fitr. These machines will dispense currency notes in denominations of QR 5, QR 10, QR 50, and QR 100–QR 200, making it easier for families to continue the cherished tradition of giving Eidiya to children.

The custom of Eidiya holds a special place in Qatari households, where elder family members present monetary gifts to children during festive greetings, often placing the money directly into their hands or pockets.

Eidiya ATMs will be conveniently available at the following locations:

• Place Vendome Mall – 8 ATMs
• Mall of Qatar – 4 ATMs
• Al Wakrah Old Souq – 4 ATMs
• Doha Festival City – 7 ATMs
• Al Hazm Mall – 4 ATMs
• West Walk – 4 ATMs
• Al Khor Mall – 4 ATMs
• Al Meera (Muaither) – 4 ATMs
• Al Meera (Al Thumama) – 4 ATMs

This initiative aims to make Eidiya distribution easier and more accessible for families across Qatar during the festive season. (QNA)
