Abu Dhabi: (QNA) March 31: His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi to review the latest regional and international developments, with a focus on efforts to contain tensions and strengthen security and stability across the region.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed the importance of de-escalation amid rapidly evolving regional situations, including concerns over ongoing tensions and their broader impact on global energy markets and stability. The Emir underscored the need to prioritise diplomatic solutions in resolving disputes and highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts to mitigate the repercussions of current crises at both regional and international levels.

The two sides also reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, reaffirming their commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination on key issues. The discussions reflected the depth of fraternal ties and the strategic partnership between the two nations, with senior officials from both sides attending the meeting.
