Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a weather warning for Tuesday, March 31, valid until 6:00 PM. Inshore and offshore conditions are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered, occasionally thundery rain.
During this period of thundery
activity, inshore wind gusts may reach 30 KT while offshore gusts could climb
to 33 KT. These conditions are expected to significantly impact the sea state,
with waves rising as high as 5 ft inshore and reaching up to 11 ft offshore.
Additionally, horizontal visibility is likely to drop to 3 km or less inshore
and 2 km or less offshore during periods of heavy rain, requiring extra caution
for both residents and mariners.
Residents and mariners are advised to exercise caution due to the risk of strong winds and high seas.
