combat human trafficking by recognising early warning signs of exploitation. In
a recent update, the Ministry stressed that identifying such indicators is
crucial in preventing these serious crimes and protecting vulnerable
individuals from abuse and unlawful practices.
The
Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding human dignity and called on
citizens and residents to report any suspected cases through the dedicated
hotline 16044. Authorities highlighted that public awareness and timely
reporting play a vital role in supporting victims and strengthening enforcement
efforts against trafficking offences.
