Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Transport Qatar has announced the gradual resumption of maritime navigation in the country, beginning with vessels licensed for fishing activities only. The decision will come into effect from Monday, March 30, 2026, as part of controlled measures to ensure safety and compliance.
According
to the ministry, the resumption is limited to fishing vessels at this stage,
with strict technical and operational requirements in place. Authorities
emphasized that all vessels must be fully prepared and compliant before setting
sail.
