Doha: A blood donation camp organised by the INCAS Qatar Central Committee as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations highlighted the organisation’s commitment to humanitarian service and care for the community. Held on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti Day, at the Qatar National Blood Donation Center at Hamad Medical City, the camp saw around 150 people donate blood, while around 25 others donated platelets.

Active in Qatar’s cultural,
social and charitable sectors for the past 25 years, INCAS Qatar organised the

service rather than limiting the celebrations to ceremonial events. The initiative

anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who spread the message of truth, non-violence
and humanity, the camp highlighted the importance of blood donation in saving

nationality.
