According to a report by Amnesty International, India continues to supply arms to Israel, despite a "substantial risk" that these weapons may be utilized in the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

As per a recent report shared with Al Jazeera, the Amnesty organization documented how India has established a close and lucrative partnership with the Israeli defense sector, becoming a significant contributor to the supply chains that support Israel's military operations.

Amnesty International investigators analyzed 2,596 shipments of weapons, ammunition, parts, and components sent from India to Israel since October 7, 2023. The report, titled The Supply of Weapons and Ammunition to Israel, reveals that Indian companies have supplied at least 390,516 parts for small arms, 564,970 components for explosive ordnance-such as drone warheads and artillery shell casings-and 298 parts for military vehicles to Israeli military suppliers.

Amnesty utilized shipment trade data to illustrate how weapons, ammunition, and related components were provided to Israeli companies that, in turn, supply them to the Israeli armed forces.

Amnesty International is a prominent global human rights organization, with a membership of over 10 million individuals. Established in 1961 by British lawyer Peter Benenson, the organization is headquartered in London, United Kingdom.
