J K Menon expresses confidence in Kerala’s development under new government

Thiruvananthapuram: J K Menon, NORKA Director and Chairman of ABN Corporation, expressed confidence in the newly formed government and said it has the potential to lead Kerala towards comprehensive development and long-term progress. During a meeting with Chief Minister V D Satheesan, Menon conveyed his best wishes and expressed hope that the coming years would mark a golden era in the state's history.

Menon said that V D Satheesan had demonstrated a clear vision on key issues related to Kerala’s development even before assuming office. He particularly appreciated the Chief Minister’s focus on education and youth development, noting that initiatives aimed at providing better opportunities for students and aligning Kerala’s educational standards with global benchmarks would greatly benefit future generations.

Highlighting the importance of strategic planning, Menon expressed hope that the government would move forward with well-researched policies and long-term plans for infrastructure development, public welfare, and women's safety. He stressed that sustainable growth requires careful study and effective implementation of development projects.

The NORKA Director also assured the government of his full support and cooperation in its efforts to implement transformative development initiatives. He stated that the Chief Minister’s long-term vision in sectors such as education, healthcare, industry, and economic development has the potential to usher Kerala into a new phase of growth and prosperity.

As part of his engagements with the state's leadership, J K Menon also held discussions with Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty, and Electricity Minister Sunny Joseph, focusing on development priorities and the future growth prospects of Kerala.
