Sangha Qatar will celebrate World Environment Day 2026 with a special
environmental awareness programme on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Old Airport
Park, Doha. Organized in association with the Embassy of India, Qatar, and in
collaboration with the Ministry of Public Parks, the event aims to promote
environmental consciousness, sustainability, and community participation in
protecting nature and preserving the environment for future generations.
The programme will be
attended by distinguished guests including Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sada, Director
of the Public Parks Department, and H.E. Vipul, Ambassador of India to Qatar.
Community members, environmental enthusiasts, and representatives from various
organizations are expected to participate in the initiative, which highlights
the importance of collective action towards a greener and healthier planet. Through
this programme, Karnataka Sangha Qatar seeks to inspire individuals to adopt
environmentally responsible practices and strengthen community engagement in
environmental conservation.
