Doha: The
Ministry of Labour has announced the enforcement of regulated outdoor work
hours starting June 1, 2026. As per the announcement, outdoor work is
prohibited between 10am and 3:30pm from June 1 to September 15, 2026.
The measure comes as part of national efforts to ensure a safe working environment and protect workers during the summer months. The ministry added that this is in implementation of Ministerial Decision No. 17 of 2021 on heat stress prevention.
