Doha: The Kho-Kho team of M.E.S. Indian School delivered an exceptional performance, winning the overall championship at the CBSE Cluster Kho-Kho Competition held at Bhavans Public School from May 31 to June 6, 2026. The tournament witnessed the participation of 18 schools competing across three categories.

Representing
the school in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, M.E.S. teams
with a total of 72 contestants displayed remarkable sportsmanship,
determination, and teamwork throughout the competition. The Boys Under-14 and
Under-17 teams won Gold medals, while the Under-19 team bagged the Bronze
medal. The Girls Under-14 team secured a Gold medal, and the Under-17 Girls
team won a Silver medal after a series of impressive matches. By virtue of
their stellar performances across various categories, the M.E.S. Kho-Kho team
clinched the overall championship title.
Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar congratulated the students and applauded their remarkable accomplishments, along with the efforts of the coach. The teams were trained and guided by Mr. Afsal Sakeer and Mrs. Reshma C.A., faculty members of the Department of Physical Education, whose unwavering support, expert coaching, and constant encouragement played a pivotal role in the team's success.
