Doha: M.E.S. Indian School, Doha – Evening Shift, celebrated Grandparents' Day on September 13, 2026, at the Conference Hall, honouring the love, wisdom, and invaluable contributions of grandparents in the lives of children.

Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Senior Vice Principal Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath, Head of Section - Evening Mrs. Shalini Sharma, Head of Section - Junior Mrs. Sameena Ashfaq, and Head of Section – Kindergarten Mrs. Suja Mathew graced the programme with their presence.

The celebration commenced with a prayer, followed by a welcome speech and a vibrant welcome dance. The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the cherished bond between grandparents and grandchildren. A special tribute to grandparents was followed by the "Talents of Grandparents" segment, where grandparents enthusiastically showcased their talents. The "Generations in Harmony" duet dance added to the festive spirit, while fun games and prize distribution created moments of joy and interaction.

The celebration reflected the school's commitment to strengthening family bonds, nurturing values, and promoting the holistic development of students, while creating cherished memories across generations.
