Doha,
Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has launched a
new initiative to increase the number of Qatari trainers within private
educational and training service centres. Unveiled by HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al
Khater, Minister of Education and Higher Education, the project aims to empower
national talent and strengthen their role in the country’s lifelong learning
sector.
The
first phase of the initiative has already seen 121 Qatari trainers register.
These professionals will undergo an evaluation process, including interviews,
to receive accredited licenses and identification cards. Once licensed, their
details will be compiled into a directory shared with private centres to
facilitate their recruitment and inclusion in training programs.
Spearheaded
by the Educational Services Centers Department, the initiative addresses the
growing demand for professional development in the private sector. By fostering
a sustainable training ecosystem led by national expertise, the Ministry aims
to improve training outcomes and align the sector with the goals of Qatar
National Vision 2030.
Private educational centres in Qatar offer a broad range of services, including administrative training, language instruction, and academic support. This initiative will ensure that Qatari professionals are at the forefront of delivering these diverse programs, ranging from professional development to specialized support for people with disabilities.
