Doha,
Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health has intensified its efforts to protect the
national food supply by increasing the frequency of inspections across several
sectors. These measures target high-risk categories, including meat, poultry,
dairy, fish, and other perishable goods.
Enhanced
inspection protocols are being applied at entry points and throughout local
markets. As part of this push, the ministry has increased laboratory testing
and sampling to verify that products meet strict safety requirements.
In addition to product testing, health officials are closely monitoring the logistics of the food supply chain. This includes rigorous checks on transportation, storage, and refrigeration conditions to prevent spoilage and maintain high standards for public health.
