Shantiniketan Indian School, Doha, proudly hosted the Forenoon Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 on 16 April 2026 at 9:15 a.m., marking the induction of the new Student Council. The ceremony began with an invocation and a disciplined march past, followed by the National Anthems of Qatar and India by the school choir.

Vice Principal Mr. Sujith Kumar welcomed the gathering, and Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim administered the oath to Head Boy Amin Sabak and Head Girl Sanvi Navas, followed by badge conferment. A proud moment was the flag handover by outgoing Head Girl Maisa Mansoor, symbolizing leadership transition.

The oath-taking of council members was followed by the conferment of badges to all members, marking their roles and responsibilities. This was then followed by inspiring felicitation addresses by President Mr. Rasheed Ahmed and the Principal Rafeeq Rahim. The Head Boy and Head Girl expressed gratitude, while the presence of parents added warmth to the occasion. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Tanveer.
