Doha: The Ministry of Interior has announced
that products made by inmates at the Penal and Correctional Institutions will
be offered for sale through its Sooum application starting tomorrow, October
15, 2026, at 8am.
In a post on its social media platforms, the
ministry said the products will be available for purchase electronically
through the ministry-operated app, which can be downloaded on Google Play,
AppGallery, and the App Store.
The move provides a digital platform through which members of the public can access and purchase products made by inmates.
