Rail has announced that since its launch seven years ago, the Doha Metro has
facilitated travel for nearly 292 million passengers across the country. In a
social media post commemorating its seventh year, the transport company noted
that 37 stations have been established, serving key destinations and providing
an effective solution for individual mobility.
The
metro has achieved average performance metrics of 99.83 percent in regularity,
punctuality, and availability, with a total accident frequency rate of 0.013
percent across the network. This is reflected in the 99.9 percent customer
satisfaction rate the Doha Metro has maintained over the last many years.
The metro network is supported by 10 metroexpress and 70 metrolink routes, ensuring wider accessibility. Since its launch, it has served commuters across more than 40 major events held across the country.
