Doha, Qatar: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met in Washington on Friday with HE Vice President of the United States J. D. Vance to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
The
meeting focused on the close strategic cooperation between the State of Qatar
and the United States, with both sides reviewing ways to further strengthen
ties across various fields. Discussions also covered the latest developments in
the region and the Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions
and enhancing regional security and stability.
During the
meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the
importance of all parties engaging constructively with the ongoing mediation
efforts to address the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and
dialogue. He stressed that such efforts are essential to reaching a
comprehensive agreement that ensures lasting peace and stability in the region.
