Qatar drawn with Tunisia, France and Venezuela at 2026 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U17 World Championship

Doha, Qatar: Qatar has been placed in Pool A alongside Tunisia, France, and Venezuela for the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U17 World Championship. The prestigious tournament is set to take place in Doha from August 19 to 29, bringing together 20 teams from across the globe. 

The competition is divided into five pools: Pool B includes Italy, Cuba, India, and Romania; Pool C features Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Poland; Pool D comprises Spain, Egypt, Bulgaria, and Türkiye; and Pool E consists of Iran, Chinese Taipei, Pakistan, and Algeria. 

Teams will compete in three preliminary matches, with the top 16 advancing to the Round of 16, followed by knockout stages leading to the semifinals, third-place playoff, and final. Matches will be held at the Aspire Sports Hall and Al Arabi Sports Club Hall.
