Doha, Qatar: Qatar Museums (QM) has attained Carbon Neutrality Certification for the operations and services of four of its prominent cultural and heritage sites: the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), the Fire Station, and Al Zubarah Fort.
This certification, awarded in accordance with the internationally recognized ISO 14068-1:2023 standard for the 2025 reporting period (January 1 – December 31, 2025), represents a significant milestone in Qatar Museums' sustainability journey. It incorporates internationally recognized carbon management practices across its institutions and operations.
