Qatar tops as the least stressed nation in MENA

Doha, Qatar: In a recent report by CEOWorld Magazine, Qatar has emerged as the least stressed country in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The 2025 Global Emotions Report, which assessed stress levels across 197 countries and territories, ranks Qatar third in Asia and 11th worldwide, with an impressive overall score of 84.3.

The report, which focuses on financial and mental well-being, evaluates countries based on four key stress categories: work-related stress, money stress, social and family stress, and health and safety stress. Qatar excelled in these areas, achieving scores of 94.23 for work-related stress, 93.46 for money-related stress, 80.08 for social and family stress, and 69.44 for health and safety stress.


Conducted between December 2, 2024, and January 12, 2025, the survey highlights Monaco as the least stressed country globally, followed by Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Ireland. In Asia, Singapore and Macao take the lead, ranked 7th and 10th globally, respectively. This report underscores Qatar's exceptional performance in promoting a low-stress environment for its residents.
