US special forces have successfully
rescued a second crew member from a downed F-15E aircraft deep inside Iran, in
what officials described as a high-risk and complex mission. The rescued
airman, who sustained injuries, is now reported to be safe following the
operation.
Donald Trump praised the mission as “one
of the most daring search and rescue operations in US history,” highlighting
the precision and coordination of American forces operating in hostile
territory.
The latest rescue follows a similar
operation carried out a day earlier, making it a rare instance where two US
pilots were recovered separately from enemy territory without any American
casualties.
Officials said the success of both missions reflects strong operational capability and air dominance, with the President calling it a moment of national pride for the United States.
