Doha: Al-Madrasa
Al-Islamia Shantiniketan Wakra organized its Secondary Final Convocation
Convention, honouring students who successfully completed their secondary
studies during the current academic year. A total of 43 students graduated from
the madrasa and received certificates and awards in recognition of their
academic achievements.
The
convention was attended by several distinguished guests and community leaders,
including Arshad E, General Secretary of the Center
for Indian Community Qatar, Rashid Ahmed, President of the Shantiniketan
Indian School and Madrasa Managing Committee, Dr. Alif Shukoor, Director of the
Education Department of the Center for Indian Community Qatar, PTA President
Azhar Ali, Principal M.T. Adam, and Head of the Secondary Department Muhammad
Jaseef. Speakers congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to continue
their educational journey with dedication and commitment.
Certificates and prizes for rank holders were
distributed by Arshad E and Rasheed Ahmed, while students included in the
Principal Honour List received their awards from Dr. Alif Shukoor. Certificates
for other graduating students were presented by PTA President Azhar Ali and
Principal M.T. Adam. The Excellent Service Award for last year's discipline
team was distributed by Teacher Shaharban in recognition of their contribution
and commitment.
Student representatives Aman Shahin, Muhammad Nazan Anwar, Mehjabin, and Fathima Lina, along with parent representatives N. Basheer and Safiya, addressed the gathering. The programme featured Quran recitation by Muhammad Nazan Anwar and a song by Tanal Khadeeja. Abdullah Ahmad, Salih Shivapuram, Nabeel Omassery, Nisar P.V., Hamza N.K., Dr. Salman, Fajruddheen, Fathimat Suhra, Khadeejabi Naushad, Umaiban Nisar and others played key roles in organizing and ensuring the success of the convocation ceremony.
